Visitors and volunteers to/from our synod We routinely send and receive visitors--typically, every other year--to and from our companion synod. Additionally, volunteers who work particularly within the realm of our partner projects travel to Tanzania as need be in service toward these proje
International Scholarship In partnership with the ELCA Global Mission, we are supporting Rev. Gabriel Nduye to attain his doctoral degree in Theology, Development, and Evangelism at KwaZulu-Natal University in South Africa.
Companion Congregation Relationships To deepen and widen our relationship, we have 27 established companion congregation relationships. From time to time, localized projects emerge from these partner relationships.
Partner Projects In accompaniment with our companion synod, we support 4 major partner development projects: well drilling for clean water, girls' secondary school education, medical initiatives, and sustainable agricultural development. Occasionally, some one-time
