| Our philosophy is accompaniment and we are molded by the ELCA beliefs. We recognize the importance of the relationship between us, our Synod and the ELCA in achieving our goals. This is accomplished through communication. |

Education A priority concern for our committee and our partnerships is ensuring education for the children and scholarship programs are an important factor.
Delegation Visits to El Salvador We encourage visits by Congregations and support Synod delegations. First time visitors are encouraged and many delegations have participants who have traveled before as we strive to build our relationships
Sunday School and Youth Groups Programs for the youth in Sunday School and Community programs are encouraged and supported.
Homeless Shelter Support is given to Casa Esperanza the homeless shelter in San Salvador and provided with the assistance of the Salvadoran Lutheran Synod
Health Clinic Congregations within the Greater Milwaukee Synod provide a Mission of Healing delegation each February that provides medical exams, dental exams, education, reading glasses, medications and a spiritual healing area.
Sustainable projects We encourage and support sustainable projects with gardening, poultry, livestock and shrimp projects
Hunger Relief Have provided food supplies through the "Feed My Starving Children" program
Disaster Relief Assisted and provided support for disaster relief particularly as a result of November 2009 flooding and mudslides
Empowerment Classes In conjunction with the Mission of Healing yearly delegations Empowerment Classes are offered to Pastors and lay leaders in the Salvadoran Lutheran Church
Training Sessions Teacher/Pastor/Youth Leader training sessions have been provided
Endowment Fund The Endowment Fund is provided through the ELCA and supported by the Greater Milwaukee Synod for the benefit of Pastoral Salary Support in the Salvadoran Lutheran Church
Non-profit organizations Consult with and support non-profit organizations to provide housing, clean water, sewer, road, bridge projects and health improvements
Walk in Faith Offer weekly prayers for our Sister Congregations and our Synod relationships. Mourn when there is a loss of life and rejoice in the celebration of birth, baptism, confirmation and marriage
