| After some years of a rather weak companion synod relationship, new connections are forming between our two bishops with the sharing of important diocesan and synod ministries. There will soon be assignments of conference to circuit linkages. |

Assistant to the bishop
Our relationship has consisted of visitation in both directions along with volunteers traveling to our companion. Scholarships and partnering in mission will soon be a vital component, we hope, after our bishops meet to discuss possibilities in 2011
