| Our relationship with Finland strengthens the global ministry of the ELCA by providing a forum for conversation and support. We share many intersections and crossroads in how the Church relates to the culture of a post-modern, industrial society. |

Visitation Program
Since the late 1990's, we have had an ongoing exchange program with our companion Synod. Every two years a delegation from the US travels to Finland, or a delegation from Finland travels to the US.
