| The Sierra Pacific Synod accompanies our companion, The Lutheran Church of Rwanda through frequent commnuication to strengthen relationships, visiting delegations, support of parishes, pastors, students, special projects and sister parishes. |

Sister Parish Relationships Sister parishes learn about one another, pray for one another, communicate with one antother, and support one another with special projects. Many have had visitors to their respective sister parishes.
Pastors Education Support Congregations of the SPS are invited to assist pastors further their seminary education. As the Lutheran Church of Rwanda continues to grow, evangelists are chosen to recieve seminary education to meet the needs of the church as pastors.
Student Support Congregations and individuals assist students in Rwanda with tuition support. This support began at the grassroots level before an offical Companion Synod relationship was established, and has blessed students and donors on both sides of the globe.
Rwamagana Lutheran School Project Estalished in 2010 with a curriculum that focuses on sustainability, their mission statement is: Rwanda has been deeply by war, genocide,and poverty. We believe that education is an important key to Rwanad's growth, recovery and continuting peace.
Mumeya Clinic Established by pastor John Rutsindintwarane working with the local community and support from several agencies withing the Sierra Pacific Synod, the Mumeya Clinic provides basic health care in an area that previously did not have access to care.
