Jubilee Centre
Providing financial support to build a primary church facility in the capitol city of Freetown that will support administrative needs, education activities, and provide a center point for youth, women's, fellowship, vocational and missional programs
Lutheran Clinic in Calaba Town
Helping to fund a clinic that provides low cost, affordable health care and education for those who cannot afford the one hospital or expensive local clinics.
Our support helps provide for a full-time nurse, and supplies that are authentic and safe
Missionary in Residence, Rev. Kate Warn
We partner with the ELCA supporting a missionary who has ties with our synod. She provides an invaluable resource as she works with the ELCSL leadership and various congregations engaging in pastoral, educational and developmental programs
Partner Trips and Exchanges
We welcome guests from the ELCSL each year at synod assembly, hosted a youth choir who toured the synod sharing testimony, music, dance and drama, and we make trips every few years extending the number of folks in relationship and building awareness
Prayer, Education & Awareness
Synod publications encourage regular prayer for our companions including a month of special emphasis; we have a designated webpage, provide a cadre of speakers available to share in congregational settings, and co-ordinate with the ELCA GM leadership
Material Support
Make occasional container shipments of supplies: administrative, educational (computers, hardware & software) medical, and ecclesiastical (Bibles, hymnals, robes, stoles, furnishings) even vehicles and bicycles for the evangelists and pastors
